Our prices depend on color, gender, temperament, quality, and whether they are proven or not. That being said our prices range from $75-$250 typically but could be more or less depending on the rabbit
All our rabbits are fully pedigreed and are handled from day one if they were born here, and we make sure they are happy and healthy to the best of our ability before they leave (they are checked by both the mother and daughter before they leave). We also try to raise Holland's with good type (SOP).
Simple answer -
All rabbits have their own personalities, so even if you handle them from day one, they might not like being picked up or petted, so you will have to ask personally if the rabbit you are looking at has a good temperament
How we handle them -
Our buns will be handled on a daily basis from birth, and our farm can be very loud at times. Examples are dogs barking, cows mooing, horses neighing, roosters crowing, and tractors making loud noises.
We also try to get them used to our dogs along with our cats, so our baby buns get a lot of experience with animals and loud noises.
The noises are something we cannot really control, but we think it is good for them so they do not get spooked by loud noises at there new home.
No, they are not. Most of our rabbits are around 2-3 months old when they leave, so they are not old enough.
The best time to neuter/spay your rabbit is around 5-6 months, I would not recommend neutering/spaying your rabbit any sooner as that could stunt their growth and sometimes make them sick.
Rabbits that are older will probably not be neutered/spayed either as they will most likely have been our breeders that are now looking for new homes.
They are not litter trained as our rabbits are on wire flooring with relief pads, so they are basically on a big litter box.
I do have instructions on my Bunny care information page and it tells you how you can litter train your rabbits. Most of the time it's pretty easy to litter train them.
Our kits(baby rabbits)/rabbits are not showable as they will be VM (Vienna marked), harlequins, and/or magpies which are colors that are not showable (VM is a marking that is not showable).
We might get a BEW (blue eyed white) every once in awhile which is a showable color, but we have chocolate and shaded in our lines which can cause a ruby cast to their blue eyes and is a DQ in shows, so our BEWs will be pets only and cannot be shown
We might get a VC (vienna carrier) though and those will not be a VM or have blue eyes, so they should be showable.
We would not be meeting the next day as we have to wait 4 more days to make sure deposit transfers once you've sent it (more info about deposit is on our sales policy)
Unless you are meeting us the day you contacted us about wanting a rabbit and we are free, you would have to wait longer to make sure the deposit does go through as stated above.
